Club Outing To Loch Earn 15-06-2015

The club had a very successful day at Loch Earn on Saturday 13th June.

4 boats, 8 anglers and over 80 fish caught, all returned apart from 2.

Eric Greig had the only rainbow of the day which was a 12lb -ish escapee, (well it was an escapee until Eric caught it!).

Kenny Thomson had a brown of around the 6lb mark which we didn't get a proper picture of because he couldn't get it in the boat without harming it. It was released while still in the water.

Best fly on the day was probably the Clan Chief, with the usual suspects; Kate Mclaren, Green Peter, Dunkeld etc also accounting for fish.

A fine time was had by all.

The LDAA don't fish competitions having moved onwards and upwards from that scene several years ago.
